Valuing excellence in conservation, collections care, conservation research and digital preservation
Sponsors and SupportersThe Icon Conservation Awards 2010 are supported by Sir Paul McCartney, who has given generous donations over three rounds since 2005, their 10th anniversary year. Icon is particularly grateful for his help, which has enabled the Awards to continue their success within conservation and the wider heritage sector. Icon, the Institute of Conservation, is the lead voice for the conservation of cultural heritage in the UK. Its membership embraces the wider conservation community, incorporating not only professional conservators in all disciplines, but all others who share a commitment to improving understanding of and access to our cultural heritage. It does this by supporting projects where additional funds will make the greatest impact. The Pilgrim Trust are also interested in projects where charities are having difficulty in raising funds from other sources.
